No. The throat is cut in a deep asymmetric U that finishes below the collar line of standard loafers, derbies and low-tops. The only shoes where a sliver can appear are ultra-low flats cut below the ankle bone.
It shouldn't. The pad is soft-durometer silicone printed flat rather than moulded proud, and it sits on the heel pad — one of the least sensitive parts of the foot. The hold comes from grip, not compression, so there's no elastic bite.
Odour comes from trapped moisture, so we attacked the moisture. Aerolight™ fibre moves sweat off the skin and the open-knit arch panel vents it. Wash cold, tumble low, and skip fabric softener — softener coats the fibres and kills both the wicking and the grip.
Longer than you're used to. The toe box is a double-knit layer, so the friction point that destroys thin no-shows is running on two layers instead of one. The grip pad survives the machine too — just keep the heat low.
